Closer Economic Partnership Agreement In Spanish

Stressing that trade and investment liberalization promotes economic growth and development, c) strengthening and strengthening the economic partnership between the two countries. The Closer Economic Partnership Agreement on the mainland and in Hong Kong is the first free trade agreement ever concluded by mainland China and Hong Kong. The main text of the EPA was signed on 29 June 2003. The agreement was negotiated alongside a broader strategic partnership agreement between the two sides. The agreement includes a number of elements, including the following. The Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPSEP) is a trade agreement between four peripheral Pacific countries that deals with a wide range of economic policy issues. The agreement was signed in 2005 by Brunei, Chile, Singapore and New Zealand and came into force in 2006. It is a comprehensive trade agreement that affects trade in goods, rules of origin, trade policy remedies, health and plant health measures, technical barriers to trade, trade in services, intellectual property, public procurement and competition policy. In particular, it called for a 90% reduction in all tariffs between Member States by 1 January 2006 and a reduction of all trade duties to zero by 2015. [7] Although the TPSEP agreement includes a membership clause and confirms « the obligation for members to promote the membership of other economies in this agreement, » there has been no membership. [9] [15] However, the four countries participated in the negotiations of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, which was agreed with eight other parties in 2015. « The common wish was the creation of a comprehensive, forward-looking trade agreement that would establish high-quality benchmarks for trade rules and help promote trade liberalization and facilitate trade within the APEC region. » The EPA is a win-win agreement that opens up new business opportunities for the mainland, Hong Kong and all foreign investors.

For Hong Kong, THE EPA offers Hong Kong businesses the opportunity to have better access to the mainland. The EPA also benefits the continent, as Hong Kong serves as the perfect « springboard » for continental companies to reach the global market and accelerate the continent`s full integration into the global economy. Foreign investors are also welcome to set up businesses in Hong Kong to take advantage of the benefits of the EPA and jointly seize the great opportunities offered by the continental market. The EPA is a framework agreement based on four agreements: trade in services – Hong Kong service providers receive preferential treatment when entering the continental market in different service sectors. Hong Kong professional organizations and continental regulators have also signed a number of agreements or agreements for mutual recognition of professional qualifications.
